If you believe in God, you believe in the devil's existence.

It was an angst-ridden tweet. As my dearest country, Singapore, gets overcrowded, public corridors in the MRT stations get smaller and smaller. I dun wanna talk about the immigration cos God knows we all need to survive. But it's the new platform screen doors I really dislike.

It feels amazing just standing there on the platform waiting for the train. My commute when using the train is like this. 0-20 mins waiting for the feeder followed by 5-8 mins on the feeder. When you alight, you have to walk the equivalent of 1 block, including 3 levels of escalators to reach the platform. So when I reach the plaform, in those few minutes waiting for the train, I feel like I got my soul back. Most of the time, it's the wind or in my opinion, the Holy Spirit. So now you know why i hate the screen doors.

Father Moore: Demons exist whether you believe in them or not.

Oh and about the title of this post. The screen doors were up for safety reasons, but primarily bcos more and more people are attempting/committing suicide on our train tracks. As if taking your own life is not selfish enough, you have to drag the whole community down with you. So i thank Satan for receiving a spot for them in Hell.

It never really occured to me that if you believe in God, you believe in the devil until I caught the movie, The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Despite the lawyer's rather agnostic beliefs, she was disturbed at 3am almost every night, or the direct opposite of 3pm, the hour Jesus died. To Catholics and most Christians, this is a holy hour. For those who recite the Divine Mercy, the best time to recite it is 3pm. You can count these as mere superstition or whatever, but somehow having this knowledge gives us extra peace of mind. Just like if you have GPS, you won't feel lost.

Of course this comment on the devil is rather shallow of me. But his every advertisement is his gain, but my wording of it is his loss. So it's up to you.

And yes, i'm high on flu meds. So, bite me.
